Justin's career in lighting and technology began with his education at the University of Colorado, where he completed the prestigious lighting program within the Architectural Engineering school. This specialized training gave him a unique foundation in lighting, design and technology, setting the stage for his leadership in the lighting industry.
After graduation, Justin rapidly rose through the ranks, leveraging his technical expertise and strategic vision to make an impact across various sectors. He currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer, where he guides the overarching direction of 1LUX’s businesses. In addition to this role, Justin is a Principal for LOGIQ® Supply, a subsidiary of 1LUX, where he plays an integral role in the company’s growth and success. His leadership extends further, serving as a strategic advisor to SAGE Brands™, IQ Horticultural Lighting, and SHIFT Innovations, helping each of these companies refine their strategic paths and achieve their business goals.
Throughout his career, Justin has been committed to driving innovation and operational excellence, both in the companies he leads and advises. His collaborative approach and deep industry knowledge have made him a trusted leader in the lighting and technology spaces.
Outside of his professional life, Justin is passionate about outdoor activities. He enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, mountain biking, and skiing, which offer him a refreshing balance to the demands of his leadership roles. Justin is also a dedicated family man. He is married to Elise Streeb, a Principal lighting designer at LS Group, and they have two daughters, Katie and Taylor. Together, they share a love for travel, adventure and the outdoors and create meaningful family experiences.
As Justin continues to lead 1LUX and its ventures, his focus remains on innovation, growth, and fostering strong connections, both in business and within his family.

KALE LACROUX | co-Founder and Chief Innovation Officer
Kale is a Colorado native with over 25 years of specialized education, experience and industry knowledge in lighting. A graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder's illumination engineering program (Class of 1998), Kale has dedicated his career to pioneering innovation and progressive change in lighting design, supply and product development.
A true entrepreneur in the industry, Kale and his business partner, Justin Streeb, have been challenging industry standards since 2008 when they started as a two person lighting design firm. Together, they have co-founded and grown multiple business in the lighting industry including LOGIQ® Supply to source and deliver the best lighting fixtures at the best price, backed by unparalleled customer service. His technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills ensure that customers receive the best overall value lighting solutions.
Kale also spearheads the SHIFT Innovations division under the 1LUX umbrella, further demonstrating his commitment to innovation and excellence. His passion for lighting is evident in every interaction he shares with colleagues, customers, teammates and partners.

Brian is the Chief Executive Officer of 1LUX, bringing extensive leadership experience in the lighting and technology industries. A graduate of the University of Denver, Brian has a proven track record of building successful teams and driving innovation.
Brian previously founded both LED Supply Co. and PURO Lighting, where he served as CEO. In these roles, he demonstrated a strong talent for identifying and commercializing new technologies, guiding both companies through significant growth and market success. His strategic leadership has consistently delivered innovative solutions while fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking company culture.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys skiing, fly fishing, hiking, and traveling. He is married to Shelby Stern, and they have two children, Aria and Toby.

JOEL SPAHN | Chief Technology Officer
Joel is a builder and his career has been defined by curiosity and a drive to create. With Lighting Analysts (now Revalize), he enjoyed 20 years developing illumination engineering software, making significant contributions to industry leading tools including AGI32 and ElumTools.
Joel, like many of his peers, found his life and career path profoundly shaped by completing the illumination engineering program at the University of Colorado. Home to renowned educators such as Ron Helms (1965-1981) and David DiLaura (1981-2007), and a continuing line of stellar faculty, the program produces many influential industry professionals.
Joel is married (2008), has two boys (2014, 2018) and a labradoodle (Betsy Ross, 2021). He has penchant for ultimate frisbee, jiu jitsu, board games, and music (guitar, drums, bass, keys).
Joel dedicates his efforts at 1LUX to technological philosophy, strategic implementation, team efficacy and other things that sound incredibly impressive but may be just vague enough to keep everyone guessing.

Kacey graduated from Florida State University (go Noles) with a degree in Event & Business Management, where she developed a passion for orchestrating unforgettable experiences. After college, she honed her skills in corporate and public event planning, gaining valuable insights into the intricacies of logistics and supply chain management across the country and abroad.
Kacey also holds a degree in Graphic Design, which allows her to blend her artistic passions with her professional expertise. These skills empower her to effectively manage varius initiatives at 1LUX as well as ensuring that all of our brand's visions are reflected consistently and creatively across social media, marketing campaigns and promotional materials. Her ability to create visually compelling collateral enhances the overall impact of the brand and strengthens its connection with the audience.
In her professional journey, Kacey has built a strong foundation in strategic partnership development, focusing on creating collaborative relationships that drive success. Joining LOGIQ® as Logistics Manager in 2016, she has worked her way to Director of Operations at 1LUX where she has played a key role in streamlining processes and enhancing operational efficiency across all of our brands.

Ashley Speer holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from SUNY Brockport, where she developed a strong foundation in financial principles and analytical skills. After graduation, she gained valuable experience in various accounting roles, focusing on support functions and auditing. This hands-on experience equipped her with the expertise needed to excel in her current position at 1LUX, where she plays a vital role in ensuring financial accuracy and integrity.
Outside of her professional life, Ashley enjoys a diverse array of hobbies that reflect her vibrant personality. She loves tackling puzzles, baking delicious treats and biking on scenic trails. In her downtime, you can find her playing board and card games, spending time with her beloved cat or participating in kickball games with friends. Ashley is also passionate about traveling, attending networking events and hitting the slopes for some skiing. Her enthusiasm for both work and play makes her a well-rounded and engaging individual.
